
James O. “J.O.” Davis Jr., 66, of Mooresville, passed away on June 1, 2017 surrounded by family.
J.O. was a law enforcement officer in Tennessee for over 20 years, working for the Shelby County Sherriff Department and the Germantown Police Department. He ended his career as a Sr. Security Specialist for FedEx, having worked for them for 30 years.
J.O. is survived by his wife of 6 years, Brenda; his mother, Eltie May Davis; children, James Charles Davis and Christen Michelle Davis; stepchildren, Justin Allsup and Amanda (Kyle) Stephenson; grandchildren, Kayla, Brennan, and Haylee; great grandchild, Wyatt; and sisters, Deana Ray Massey and Jean Brown. He was preceded in death by his father, James O. Davis Sr; loving wife of 40 years, Linda Carol Davis; and sister, Faye Webb.
A Celebration of his Life will be on Saturday, June 10, 2017. Time and place to be determined.
